Los Angeles - Going Out

I've gone out for dinner, out for drinks and out for a movie; now I've added "going out for bussines" to my to-do list.

Los Angeles - Second Street Tunnel

Another, much filmed, Los Angeles landmark. Vivica A. Fox escaped the alien death ray and Jennifer Beals abandoned her boyfriend (and his Porsche) in this tunnel.

Thanks to the film crew at the other end, I was able to stand in the middle of Second Street and take this picture without without the risk of being flattened by a large SUV.

On Hill Street, the Kawada Hotel (my current location) is one of the first things you see when exiting the tunnel on the East end.

Los Angeles - Yorkshire Grill

When I lived on Olive Street, I frequently walked past the Yorkshire Grill (at about 4:45 AM) on my way to the Metro Blue Line train station.

I recommend the New York Special sandwich; a huge pile of hot pastrami, melted Swiss cheese and a generous scoop of cole slaw on rye bread. Tasty!

Los Angeles - 4th Street

Not much of a rain, by Savannah standards, but the wet streets make for interesting reflections. This photo was snapped from the sidewalk in front of 107 West 4th Street.
